1920s Large Brass and Red Velvet Table Lamp

A fabulous c.1920s tall Brass and Red Velvet Table Lamp. Neoclassical sculpted and raised 3-square-pointed brass base with a rich and unctuous black-brown patina. Three brass candles with splayed pedestal base of their own rising to a solid brass reticuated reticulated drip basket. A lucious red velvet wrapped candle sits on top with a solid brass twisted flame topper. A linked brass chain dangles between each candle to the main lamp column. Sitting on a reticulated dome base with a larger red wrapped candle and large upper reticulated brass basket. In fully functioning condition. It appears the lamp may have been rewired some time in the mid-century from style of plug end. 3-way switch. With original tall red velvet shade fringed with dangling olden velvet balls. One of the velvet balls got knocked off but can be reattached. See pictures. The velvet ball will be included in its own pouch. 46" to top of twisted flame finial. 14" widest
