Bedroom with its brass bed is among the rooms at the Old Kentucky Home boarding house, the childhood home of American novelist Thomas Wolfe. The author immortalized his mother's boarding house in his autobiographical novel, 'Look Homeward Angel," published in 1929. The boarding house is now the Thomas Wolfe Memorial, a tourist attraction in Asheville, North Carolina.
