Hermès Rive Gauche

By A Mystery Man Writer

Currently the largest Hermès shop, it opened its doors in 2010 on the banks of the Seine, surpassing the giant flagship stores of other luxury labels. A listed swimming pool from the ’30s has been transformed into a light 16,000-square-foot shop floor. Design agency RDAI managed to integrate Art Deco elements, such as balustrades and supports, into the shop’s design. Particularly eye-catching are the pavilions wreathed with wooden slats and the water-inspired tiled floor.
