International Yoga Day: Pregnant women gather to practice yoga birthing an ancient technique

By A Mystery Man Writer

Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital (HN RFH) hosted an open yoga birthing session where pregnant moms were seen performing yoga. The birthing session focused on enhancing their mental and physical well-being. The event was conducted by renowned therapists in rehabilitation and sports medicine. During the invigorating yoga birthing session the expectant mothers engaged in yoga practices to strengthen their mental and physical fitness. Yoga, an ancient technique, offers tremendous potential for the well-being of pregnant women. According to a study conducted in Iran in 2021 to investigate the effects of Yoga on pregnancy, delivery, and neonatal outcomes, yoga reduced the induction of labor, the episiotomy rupture, and the duration of labor, and also had a significant effect on normal birth weight and delivery at the appropriate gestational age. International Yoga Day: Pregnant women gather to practice yoga birthing an ancient technique Photogallery at ETimes
