The 14Oz./400Gram fleece is made in Wakayama, Japan on old USA Sinker Weave Looms. Sinker machines were invented in the late 1940's and became more popular than the slow loopweel machines. The sweat is sewn together with the fabric turned sideways (90 Degrees). This design feature became popular in the early 1950's and solved the problem of the (Loopwheel)sweats shrinking in length.
Made in Japan.
