Brass was used for the frames because of the scarcity of iron in the United States. 1 piece hardwood grips with brass frame. .36 caliber, blued 7 1/2" octagon barrel. 6 shot, .368 chamber diameter. Brass backstrap and triggerguard, color casehardened on loading lever and hammer. Cylinder engraved with naval scene and has additional engraving on barrel and frame.
