Our Fitness Journey - Savour a Life Well Lived

By A Mystery Man Writer

Marty and I have decided to make a change, and we hope that you will follow us on our very own fitness journey.Getting fit after fifty can be a challenge, but it is one that we have taken on. The benefits of exercise over 50 encapsulate your whole health and well-being, leading you to feel healthier and live longer. Exercise can also help you manage things like your weight and heart health, and it can also reduce your risk of serious health conditions such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and stroke. It isn’t always easy, though, because as we grow older, our bodies change, and so can our lifestyle, and sometimes it becomes harder and harder to exercise, eat right and stay healthy. Thankfully, there is an endless choice when it comes to working out that can be low-impact and beneficial, and there are many simple ways to get started eating right and taking care of yourself. It is also important to regain or build muscle mass for your body as well; ensuring that you’re consuming the proper amount of protein (this is our favorite) is critical to muscle development. If you are ready for better health, we can lead the way. The following is what we are doing to get started. 1. Yoga and Meditation 2. The Twelve-Hour Fasting 3. Walking 4. Supplements 5. Strength Training 6. Sleep 7. Diet For more Fitness articles, follow our Blog.
