In a new memoir called “Open Book,” Jessica Simpson speaks out about sexual abuse she suffered as a child, addiction, and challenging relationships both with men in her life and her own body. TODAY’s Hoda Kotb sat down the singer and fashion designer for an emotional conversation. “I just realized that I had to surrender,” Simpson says of her sobriety.
